BEAUTY SHOT

When it comes to skincare I have always kept my routine simple and basic. That is not to say that my skin is easy to treat. From season to season, year to year, changing lifestyle conditions your skin´s needs vary. This fall started with a new step in my beauty routine: serum. Ever since I worked in the beauty industry I was fascinated by the light texture of these concentrates highly enriched with active ingredients. Serums act deeply on specific skin problems and needs. With this add-on I found myself automatically in front of the anti-aging shelve, more precisely in the category "pro youth" or "rejuvenating". Whatever, time - if you can blow away your mind - is just an illusion.

What my stressed skin currently really needs is hydration and deeper treatment. As a genuine Origins fan I quickly found what I needed: The new Make A Difference Plus+ Moisturizing Serum. The smooth texture which is not too fluidly immediately hydrates my skin deeply and leaves a real fresh and plump feel and look. From now on my serum addiction is official.

It´s obvious but summer truly faded away...and will stay away for quite an eternity here in Austria. Hard to take. Summer I want you so much back! But don´t waste your energy for what you literally can not change. Surrender. This is what life is trying to teach me, every day.

SAVAGE LOVE

This weekend I went to see "Savages" in an almost empty studio, the crowd storming into the latest Bond movie. Mexican drug cartel, cool-idyllic L.A. setting (Laguna Beach), dazzling all-star cast. Blake Lively turned into a modern beach-hippie girl. Back to reality: while we cant hide that winter is almost here, the shots tempt to dream of living somewhere on the beachside...

Every spring seasons its the time for new fragrance sport editions. Including the french global player working hard on trying to embody their image of man.

Just released the new Dior Homme Sport Commercial featuring once again Jude Law. For me it seems to be more a last minute production, playing with french lifestyle clichè, classical unexciting, the soundtrack a total misfit in my ears. Sorry, I didn´t get it. Anyway advertising is simply, it works or doesn´t.
