SAVAGE LOVE

This weekend I went to see "Savages" in an almost empty studio, the crowd storming into the latest Bond movie. Mexican drug cartel, cool-idyllic L.A. setting (Laguna Beach), dazzling all-star cast. Blake Lively turned into a modern beach-hippie girl. Back to reality: while we cant hide that winter is almost here, the shots tempt to dream of living somewhere on the beachside...

Every spring seasons its the time for new fragrance sport editions. Including the french global player working hard on trying to embody their image of man.

Just released the new Dior Homme Sport Commercial featuring once again Jude Law. For me it seems to be more a last minute production, playing with french lifestyle clichè, classical unexciting, the soundtrack a total misfit in my ears. Sorry, I didn´t get it. Anyway advertising is simply, it works or doesn´t.

FASHION SPRING

Finally we have Spring back and full Summer collections in stores. Reason enough to celebrate this new fashion season charmed by soft pastel nuances, chic vintage flavors and bright color moods.

And I found my must-have sandals for the season. Flat, perfect to shorts and long dresses. My wardrobe shrank last year, after three cleanings-out only the best of the best passed. A casting show for my clothes, you´re in and you´r out.  My classic white blouse is out, which I really missed this week for some reasons. Me and a white blouse? Its like Eva and Ryan.
Back to my sandals, which I did not dare to try them on, my tight budget (do I even have a budget?) prevented me. Its sometimes good to be a rationalist. And currently my life is a casting show.
